Celebrating local legal talent is what Bygott Biggs is all about, and so we were delighted to take our place as sponsors of the Manchester Legal Awards and be part of an evening dedicated to showcasing the excellence of the Manchester legal community.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening alongside our distinguished guests at the table and around 650 other members of the Manchester legal profession at the prestigious Midland Hotel. 

Manchester Law Society pulled all the stops out for a great event and our congratulations go out to everyone shortlisted and the winners in every category. 

In particular we'd like to extend our congratulations to Sarah Evans and her colleagues at Slater and Gordon for bringing home the trophy for Employment Team of the Year which Bygott Biggs was proud to sponsor.

A special mention should be made of Joy Kingsley of JMW who won the Lifetime Achievement Award and further congratulations to Shoosmiths for picking up Law Firm of the Year, and Tom Bridgforth of Eversheds Sutherland for scooping Partner of the Year.

We're looking forward to next year's event already!
