Legal Survey - Prize Draw Winner

In May 2015 we created a short survey asking searching questions about the legal profession. The survey delved into issues such as pay and partnership and revealed that the new generation of lawyers donít all aspire to partnership.

We also looked into the most likely reasons a lawyer would look to leave their firm and whilst our survey revealed that many lawyers believe they are underpaid, financial incentive is not the leading motivation for a move. There are other influencing factors such as career progression and work/life balance.

The survey also highlighted the fact that many lawyers who have qualified since the recession feel they are now benefiting from the talent gap that has arisen in certain disciplines.

What is clear from the survey is that the new generation of lawyers have differing views on the profession and what they want from it. We will be investigating their motivations and aspirations further in our new survey. To register your interest in receiving a copy or to take part, email

Meanwhile, we are delighted to announce our 2015 Survey Prize Draw winner is Charlotte Stojak of Buckles Solicitors. She won £250 of Mr & Mrs Smith vouchers which hopefully she and her soon to be husband will be able to enjoy after their forthcoming wedding celebrations. We wish you both all the best for the big day!

Kind regards

Jane, David and Richard
