Charity Solicitor (5+ PQE)

A top-tier regional law firm with a longstanding reputation for excellence is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Charity Solicitor to join its leading Private Client practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for a solicitor with 5+ years of post-qualification experience to play a key role in expanding and shaping the firm’s charity offering.

The Role:
You’ll advise a varied portfolio of charity clients on a broad spectrum of matters, including:

• Establishing and registering new charities and charitable entities
• Advising trustees on duties, powers, and governance
• Charity mergers, asset transfers, and restructuring
• Policy development and regulatory compliance
• Working cross-functionally with property and employment specialists on charity-related matters
• Engaging with the Charity Commission and handling registration or de-registration processes

You Will Also:

• Supervise and support junior team members
• Take an active role in client relationship management and business development
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high level of client service

About You:

• Proven track record in advising charities of varying sizes
• Strong knowledge of charity law and regulation
• Client-focused, commercially aware, and solutions-oriented
• Able to work independently but also collaboratively within a supportive team
• Skilled at building and maintaining trusted client relationships
