An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a successful and growing law firm as part of a brand-new venture within their wider commercial team. This is a standout opportunity to take a lead role in developing a commercial property offering, backed by the support and infrastructure of an established, highly successful law firm.

The ideal candidate will bring strong local connections and a deep understanding of the regional market. This is a key hire with real potential for influence, autonomy, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a full caseload of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases, landlord and tenant work, and other transactions.
• Actively engaging in business development and marketing initiatives to grow the department.
• Leveraging an existing local network to generate new business and enhance client relationships.
• Collaborating with other teams across the firm to provide a seamless service to clients.
• Playing a strategic role in shaping and growing the commercial property function.

About You

• Minimum 5 years PQE in commercial property law
• Commercially driven with the confidence and capability to develop a new department.
• Well-connected in the local market - existing relationships with agents, investors, and business owners will be crucial.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
• Strong communication, networking, and client relationship skills.
