A well-established multi-practice law firm in Leicester is seeking an experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to join its busy and supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident criminal practitioner to take on a varied caseload within a firm known for high-quality defence work and a strong local reputation.

The Role:

• Managing a full caseload of criminal matters from police station through to Magistrates’ and Crown Court
• Conducting police station attendances and acting as Duty Solicitor
• Representing clients in court and providing clear, practical legal advice
• Working closely with experienced solicitors, support staff, and advocates

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Criminal Duty Solicitor accreditation is essential
• Strong advocacy and client-care skills
• Ability to manage files independently and work effectively under pressure
• Commitment to publicly funded criminal defence work
