A growing and ambitious employment law team is looking to recruit an Employment Paralegal to join its Liverpool office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in employment law within a supportive and forward-thinking legal environment.
The firm is part of a wider professional services group focused on empowering people and businesses through expert legal and HR support. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team working with a broad range of employer and employee clients across contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
The Role
You will support solicitors and senior fee earners on a varied caseload, gaining hands-on exposure to all aspects of employment law. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal matters and case preparation
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and bundles
- Conducting legal research
- Liaising with clients, counsel, tribunals, and third parties
- Managing files and maintaining accurate case records
- Assisting with HR advisory and non-contentious employment matters where required
About You
Applications are welcomed from candidates who are:
- Educated to degree level (Law degree or equivalent preferred)
- Experienced in a legal support or paralegal role, ideally within employment law
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
- Keen to develop a specialist career in employment law
- Commercially aware with a proactive and professional approach
