Employment Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded national law firm with a leading Employment practice in the East Midlands.
Working within a well-established and growing team, you will be part of a nationally recognised Employment group known for its commercial, responsive and client-focused approach.
The Role:
You will join a collaborative and supportive team advising a broad client base, including national and international businesses, on a wide range of employment matters.
The work will include:
- Day-to-day HR and employee relations advice
- Disciplinary, grievance and performance issues
- Employment Tribunal matters and disputes
- Drafting contracts, policies and settlement agreements
- Supporting on large-scale restructures, redundancies and TUPE matters
You will gain exposure to both contentious and non-contentious work, as well as the opportunity to work closely with experienced senior lawyers on complex and strategic matters.
The Team:
You will work closely with an experienced Legal Director who provides strategic, commercially focused advice across the full employment lifecycle, from day-to-day advisory work through to complex change programmes and restructures.
The wider team is recognised for its strength in depth and collaborative, national offering, acting for clients across a range of sectors.
The Candidate:
Applications are welcomed from candidates who:
- Are Trainee Solicitors and Newly Qualified Solicitors up to 2 years’ PQE
- Have completed a seat in employment law or gained relevant post-qualification experience
- Demonstrate strong technical ability and a commercial approach
- Are confident working closely with clients and building relationships
- Are keen to develop within a high-performing and supportive team
