The firm is a well-established, reputable solicitors’ practice based in Mansfield, providing a wide range of legal services to individuals and businesses. The firm has a long-standing presence in the local area and a supportive, team-focused working environment.
The Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Support Assistant / Legal Secretary to join a friendly and busy office team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting fee earners with day-to-day legal and administrative tasks.
This position would suit an experienced legal secretary, an administrator looking to move into a legal environment, or a graduate looking to commence their legal career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audio typing and preparation of legal documents from dictation
- Managing emails and correspondence
- Answering and handling incoming telephone calls
- General administrative support to fee earners
- File management and organisation
- Assisting with client communications and enquiries
- Supporting across different areas of law as required
About You:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good typing and IT skills
- Professional and friendly telephone manner
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Reliable and team-oriented
Experience:
- Previous legal experience is not essential for admin-level applicants
- Legal secretary experience is welcome but not required
