Private Client Paralegal

The Team:

This expanding Private Client team is now recruiting for a Paralegal to work in its Sheffield office alongside experienced fee earners.

As a member of the Private Client team, you’ll provide support on the full range of private client matters, focusing on Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

What We Are Looking For:

We’re seeking a highly motivated professional to join this growing team, making this role suitable for an existing paralegal with experience in this area or a related sector.

Duties To Include:

• Providing a comprehensive and efficient legal service within the Wills, Probate and lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) area
• Holding regular client meetings, including home visits and assisting fee earners with new client enquiries
• Managing the files of clients assigned to you, taking client instructions and drafting Wills and LPAs
• Carrying out research and keeping up to date with changes in legislation
• Managing your time and tasks as a paralegal, keeping a proper record of all work done, time recording and any training received
• Carrying out monthly billing procedures, including generating bills, sending bills to clients and assisting with credit control.

The Ideal Candidate:

Ideal candidates should have previous paralegal experience in Private Client/ wealth management/ estate planning matters.
