Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive (NQ+)

Office-based (flexible working)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-established Private Client team at a respected regional law firm.

This position has become available to support the team ahead of a senior member’s planned retirement later in the year, offering the successful candidate the chance to take on a varied and engaging caseload with strong ongoing supervision and support.

The Role

You will manage a broad mix of private client work, including:

• Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts and tax planning
• Estate administration and probate
• Court of Protection matters

You’ll provide high-quality legal advice and support to a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, while developing your technical and client relationship skills within a supportive environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• NQ Solicitor or FCILEX with training or experience in Private Client law
• Strong technical knowledge across Wills, LPAs, Estate Administration, and Court of Protection work (Trusts experience desirable)
• Excellent drafting and attention to detail
• Understanding of inheritance tax principles and capacity issues
• Clear and confident communicator with a client-focused approach
• Able to manage a caseload with supervision and work collaboratively as part of a team
