Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

A well-established property focussed law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy property team.

This is a hands-on role supporting fee earners with a high-quality residential caseload and would suit someone who enjoys the practical, day-to-day delivery of conveyancing work within a stable and supportive team environment.

The role

You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of residential property transactions, including:

• Assisting with sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
• Preparing contract packs and supporting documentation
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors
• Managing files from instruction through to completion
• Carrying out searches, SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
• Maintaining accurate file notes and compliance requirements

About you

• Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential
• Comfortable managing a busy workload with competing deadlines
• Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach
• Organised, detail-driven and able to work well as part of a team

Important note on progression

This position is designed as a longer-term paralegal role, focused on supporting the conveyancing team rather than immediate progression to qualification.

It would suit someone looking to develop their technical experience, build stability, or continue their career within a paralegal capacity, rather than candidates seeking a short-term stepping stone to training contract or qualification in the near future.
