Residential Property Fee Earner (Leasehold Focus)

An established boutique property law firm in Nottinghamshire is growing and is looking to welcome a Residential Property Fee Earner to join its busy residential property team.

This is a new role, created due to increased workflow and planned team growth. The firm already has several qualified lawyers in place, with further hires coming through later this year, making this a great time to join.

Why this role is different

If you’re a conveyancer who’s feeling a bit bored of back-to-back sale and purchase files, this could be a really refreshing change.

The firm does not handle sale and purchase conveyancing. Instead, the focus is on non-contentious residential property work, particularly leasehold matters such as:

• Deeds of variation
• Lease extensions
• Other interesting, technical residential property work

The work is shared sensibly across the team, but this role allows one person to really get stuck into leasehold work and develop that specialism within a boutique environment.

Who this would suit

• Solicitor, CILEX or equivalent experience
• No minimum PQE requirement
• A solid understanding of conveyancing
• Leasehold experience is helpful, but not essential
• Someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a small team
• Happy with an office-based role
