Residential Property Lawyer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Property Lawyer to join a well-established, highly regarded high street firm in North Nottingham.

This role offers the chance to join a friendly, down-to-earth team with a strong local reputation and a loyal client base built over many years.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion. The caseload is focused on traditional conveyancing work and does not include new build or plot sales.

Typical work will include:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Transfers of equity
• Remortgages
• Post-completion matters, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications

You will be supported by a trainee conveyancer and a law graduate, and will work within a structured case management system to ensure efficient progression of files.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
• Proven experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Well-organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Good understanding of AML, compliance, and conveyancing processes
